Every staff member that works at Madison Vet Hospital is awesome. You can tell they have a true passion for animals. We recently switched all of our pets to them and primarily see Dr. Deek. They’re bed side manner is top notch. There’s just so much compassion from them. Their prices are totally fair too! I’m happy we made the switch.
They canceled 2 appointments on me for my dog. The first was 20 minutes before it and was rescheduled for today at 4. Showed up at 4 and they said it was at 2 and they called to confirm the appointment on Saturday and also at 2 to say we were late. There was no missed calls or voicemail. This place is a joke. If they can’t handle a simple scheduling of an appointment how can they possibly do a good job with your pet.
I am in absolute shock right now. Carmen had an appointment this afternoon at 3:30. I had to stop at giant eagle and pick up a prescription for my daughter who lives in Pittsburgh. I needed to pick it up before I went to the vet so that I could stop at the post office on the way back and send it overnight. I realized I was going to be late so I called as I was pulling out of giant eagle at 3:29 PM to let them know I was on my way. We unfortunately had to be our best friend to sleep yesterday. The room they put us in at the building was beautiful and peaceful. All the staff involved were very kind and caring. Made an unbearable situation a little better. I loved how they called him friend.
Highly recommend . Blaze had his first visit yesterday and it was a great experience. Dr Tom and staff were very personable and answered all questions . Blaze was a happy nub waggin’ boy .
We took my cat with a bulging, puss filled, painful eye to see the vet. We called and setup the emergency appointment yesterday. When we got there today we were told our “emergency appointment “ wasn’t till a week later. If we wanted the vet to see out suffering cat today it would be an additional $50. Nobody looked at the cat or considered his pain and suffering. It was all about the money. Then the vet had the unprofessionalism to tell my mid 60s mother that she was upsetting his staff. Good Afternoon. I apologize for any miscommunication on our part about when the appointment that was scheduled. We had an appointment scheduled next Friday afternoon to see this kitten. It was never expressed to us that this was an emergency appointment. For that, I do apologize. Do not go here if you want your animal to live. This place is terrible. Every exam room was filled with people crying. Go there and that will be you crying over your pet. Your wallet will be crying also
I can’t even begin to say how thankful I am for the people and vets here. During what was one of the hardest days for our dog they were more patient and understanding than I could have ever imagined. They allowed us to ask 100 questions about our dog and were more than helpful. Dr. Barry, Lori, and Gabriella were the kindest people ever and made the process of having to let our dog go easier on us. This place deserves a big gold medal in my book and I highly recommend them to anyone.
