My son had ear tubes put in a year ago at Madison Surgery Center, and then today my daughter had her tonsils and adenoids removed. Both times I was so impressed with the staff, from the cheerful (even at 6:30am!) receptionist to the child friendly doctors & nurses and the easy in house pharmacy. As hard as it is to watch your kids go through things like this, I couldn't think of a better place to have it done than Madison Surgery Center. Staff seemed eager to please but seemed very harried. Nurses were friendly but not overly confident. Patient follow thru was very poor. I was sent home without any pain medication after surgery. Apparently, the drug store never received my prescription and my husband unknowingly brought home what they gave him, which was only half the order. Spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone after arriving home trying to rectify the matter. Doctor on call was not helpful. Finally had to have my pharmacy call him to get a prescription called in ... read more
