DO NOT RENT FROM HERE I have been a tenant here for nearly 4 years. When new employment opportunities were presented the staff has been nearly impossible to communicate with. There is no sub-letting, there is no room to work with for early termination, and the apartment complex is not willing to negotiate in any way, shape, or form. Trippe Realty stated that the apartment cannot be sub-let but can be 'rented out' AirBnB style with all of the liability left on us as the renters. DO NOT RENT HERE LOOK ELSEWHERE. We have been residents here for close to 4 years. When we were provided opportunities for new employment the management and property management Trippe Management have refused to work with us. They will not allow a sub-lease or early termination (of 3 months) even when offered to forfeit deposits. Hopefully suggestions have included asking our new employer to cover the difference or too "Air BnB" our location with their approval. Madison on 20th's staff is helpful, kind, and understanding. I was working in China when I called looking for an apartment, and many other complexes or rental agencies didn't feel comfortable trying to establish my identity due to my location. Madison's staff made the purchase simple, and they worked with me to make my transition back into the states smooth, and their diligence hasn't stopped or slowed down in the year that I have been here. In short: I trust them, so please rent from these wonderful people!
Great place to live...affordable and quiet........
I just arrived in USA from France three months ago and it is so far the greatest place to live in Gainesville! It is really cheap compared to the other residences available in Gainesville. My apartment was very clean (still clean now) when I moved in and the owner is really kind! Everyone in the staff try to let you really comfortable. In few words: I highly recommend the Madison on 20th residence!!!
