Location was the best! The view was the best! Bartenders inside very knowledgeable of wine list. Waitstaff outside the worst that I have ever seen. Waited 40 minutes before we were asked for something to drink then didn't get the bottle for another 20 minutes . Had to ask manager for a piece of bread. Waitress outside need to go take a class in proper etiquette. I ordered oysters that came out in 30 minutes that looked like they were shucked at breakfast time. Ordered sea bass and I got Cod fish. This hotel is beautiful! My fiance and I would especially like to thank GM John Mathers for helping us to resolve a difficult situation. We are looking forward to returning for a relaxing stay at your hotel very soon.
I stayed here with my boyfriend and my pup - dog friendly! Staff was amazingly attentive, bringing my pup cold water on the beach as mine didn't stay cold, recommending great places to eat and serving awesome food. Room was super clean and the view was incomparable. I hope to be back soon!
Very nice place to eat and also went to a fabulous wedding.
We loved staying here! We were there last week 6/30-7/2. We had gorgeous weather... The breakfasts were fabulous. Trish McCarthy the conceirage at the Hotel was so helpful, she kept us informed about what was going on in town and hotel, set up a beautiful sailboat charter for us and recommended restaurants. I also visited the Spa and had a lovely experience. We hope to be back in the near future
This is a jewel on the coast of Connecticut. I was on a business trip and this hotel looked to be in the perfect spot for my site visits. Little did I know it was perfect, period! Once I got there, I was thinking I will have to re-visit again and bring my wife to enjoy this place.
We were treated like royalty !!! Food was excellent !!
