The Diplomat is great place to live. It's got a convenient location, the views of the lake are superb, and the building is quiet and well kept. Also Tom and Jill are very nice and helpful. They respond promptly to emails, and work hard to make sure the apartments are kept in good shape. If you're looking for a well managed apartment building with a great location, this is the place for you.
The main building for Madison Apartments is The Diplomat, which was built in 1973. This is the apartment I live in (2015-16), and I have to say do not let the age fool you. There are newer places downtown, but The Diplomat has been owned by the same family its entire life, and that experience shows in all dealing with management. Maintenance requests are handled professionally and in a timely fashion, trash and recycling are straightforward, and the laundry room *almost* always has enough room (waited three times in 33 month... read more
