She was my rheumatologist at OSU . She only commented on my weight when I went. She never found out or investigated what was wrong with me. If you are obese I would not go to her for diagnosis of a disease. She has no compassion or interest in finding out what is wrong. I had her for several years so I can tell you she was awful.
Boy..everyone's reviews weren't wrong! I just a moment ago had an appointment with her that I waited months for and was useless. She talks over top of you constantly, does not listen and disregarded my pain and concerns. I saw her almost 10 years ago and I was at the beginning of fibromyalgia at that point so was new to me. I was sent her for extreme pain in my hip and hands and she did no exam but look at one of my hands. I told her I had an xray is there a tear in my hip joint? Been seeing Mehta for a couple of years, and not impressed, but she seems to be the only one in Ohio Health. Been having problems with my shoulders, and she wants to brush me off to Dr. Fritz, a bone surgeon. She has a lousy bedside manner, and often acts as if you are exaggerating your symptoms. I do NOT recommend her. Find someone who actually cares.
I seen Dr. Mehta two days ago for my first visit. I highly recommend her, I was really impressed. She is very smart and compassionate and she is a good listener. Her explanations were clear and understandable. My wait time in her office was 5 minutes, her office is very clean and welcoming. She deserves more than a five star rating!
