I've had a few appointments with her and she is rude has a bad bed side manner she has no empathy and when something she does causes pain and I yelled out she yelled at me telling that it didn't hurt and that if I didn't like it I didn't have to come back with out a doubt I would rather die of prostate cancer than be treated by her ever again

If you can love a Dr right away. She saw me in hospital and took me in as patient afterwards. Professional and kind. Answered all my questions. Office staff is great too. So happy to find.

Dr. Holzman has a lot of knowledge in her area of expertise and she is a good communicator.As a patient, I feel very fortunate to have her as my urologist. I have no idea why she has gotten some negative reviews here, but I personally am giving her a 5 star review, and I feel that she deserves it!

I saw Holzman a couple of times for issues with my kidney after 7 infections in 12 months. She told me it was caused by my weight (130lbs) and diet. She told me that I wasn’t urinating properly. (36 years old) I begged for her to send for more tests which she refused. Told me that ‘no other dr would accept me because of my insurance doesn’t pay much’ I then got a CT scan done ordered from my primary dr. Which then showed severe hydronephrosis. Doctor was less than professional during the pre-op appointment. Scheduling staff is a mess. Made the opp appointment for a Thursday, showed up early to find out they actually scheduled me for the Monday before (the appointment card in my hand said Thursday). They didn't call or anything. Reschedule me for 2 months out AFTER giving ME attitude for "not showing up."

She has taken very good care of my 82 year old friend with prostate and bladder cancer. She's performed several procedures to help with his conditions. Dr. Holzman was instrumental in getting him approved for hyperbaric oxygen treatment for the growth of tumors causing blood loss in the bladder. he was initially approved for 40 2hour treatments and later received 20 more because of the positive response of his condition. Excellent! She was assigned to my case by Enloe Medical Center. I was suffering severe pain which was diagnosed by Staff Doctors after extensive tests as a blockage in the kidneys. Dr. Holzman performed a procedure, part of which involved the insertion of a stint. The pain was gone the very next day. She is a no nonsense, capable professional who gave direct answers to questions sans "hospital speak". My follow-up visit was also satisfactory. I'd highly recommend her to friends or family.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Called ofc after ER visit for follow up, was told Dr needed to review my info first, appt would be a month out. I called ofc wk or so later to check on appt, told Dr hadn't had a chance to look at my chart yet. Called another wk later and was told same thing. Later, ER dept called to tell me that Dr faxed them after my initial call to say that she wouldn't see me and did so a total of 3 times, no one at ofc said a word to me when I would call. Wasted over 2 wks of my time.

Doctor Holzman did my husband's vasectomy and I would highly recommend her.
