Thank you for your caring thoughts and words when I had to make the decision to have my best friend of 15 years put down. My vet was closed when I needed help for my fur baby. After walking in and putting my sick baby on the scales, the receptionist hugged me as we cried together. Never met these people in my life. I love it. They have saved my Diesel twice. The first time when he was just 6 weeks old when he ate 2 socks before we rescued him and was 24 hours away from dying, and yesterday when he got a bad batch of dog food and was throwing up blood. They save his life every time and I'm so thankful for how hard they try to save a dogs life. So thankful for them.
These people are awesome!!!! I had a dog that needed to be seen ASAP and they were the only vet that had an opening so I grabbed the appoimtment. It was sad news but we were going to try some medications first. The meds didn't work and she ended up being put to rest. Yesterday I received a sympathy card from the entire office. How sweet of them to think of us like that. They had only seen Layla twice; the emergency visit and the day we had to say goodbye to her. Dr. Joe is one of a kind! I was recommended by several people and have never had any regrets taking my lab to him. They can squeeze you in in a moments notice and all of the staff are wonderful! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vet with skills, knowledge and expertise!

Love Dr Joe and the staff. It's stressful when you have to bring you fuzzy loved one in if they are unwell, but I know they are in good hands, and how much everyone cares. Prices are very reasonable, and I feel that they do a good job at explaining pros and cons of treatment options along with prices. I don't feel rushed, and all of my questions are answered and addressed. Thank you all for the love you show to your patients!

I can not say enough wonderful things about this veterinary hospital! We had an emergency with my 4 year old cocker spaniel last week. It was late in the evening around 7:00 pm. I called Mad River vet and they got us in to be seen right away, even when they closed at 8:00 pm. They took the extra time to see my pup and were patient and caring! From the ladies at the front desk to Dr. Maynard, everyone was beyond wonderful! Thank you!!
