Absolutely fantastic dining experience at Macon Bistro & Larder! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without being overwhelming. Such a disappointment, and we were very much looking forward to our date night. Service: It took roughly 10-15 minutes before we were even greeted after we were sat down. Then after we got our drink order in (a bottle of wine) we had to wait a while again to order. And when the server did come over it was just "what can I get you". No greeting, apology, talking through the menu, recommendations, etc. We were never interacted with during the meal to ask how everything was. Came here on a Saturday night - Valentines day to be precise - and had to eat earlier than expected, but it was a good time for a 1st visit. One thing I liked was they didn't have a v-day prefixe menu. Parking can be a challenge as the meters are active until 10:30pm. Excellent restaurant with great food and better service. The biscuits were 10/10 and so was the steak. Definitely coming back for brunch or dinner!
Excellent brunch - ending with the French Toast was the pièce de résistance! The bar is officially open again too - great selection of single malt scotch! Looking forward to being back… great service as well.
