My family and I had a great time there and the food was good! Our waitress was great! We will be returning!
Very down to earth environment, with great food and customer service.
I wanted fresh seafood and that's what we got. We had the fried seafood platter and it was DELICIOUS! I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a great meal. The service was outstanding, also. We will definitely go back when we visit
Welcoming staff. Delicious crab dip. Good old 50s rock and roll playing. View of the ocean. Going to try some oysters next. Great place to begin our vacation on Tybee Island while we wait for our friends to finish some activities. We will be back for sure. Southern hospitality at a real seafood house.
Flounder was dry and coleslaw was bad, but shrimp trio was great. Stuffed mushrooms were tasty Services and atmosphere was good. Would have liked some bread or rolls served. Desert was good.
The cleanest, most well-organized kitchen I have ever seen. Three thumbs up.

I have been here 3 times in 4 days!!! That should say it all!! I love your food. Other places may have outside attractions and other amusements, but Macelwee's has the quality by far. The best tasting crab legs, shrimp and those fried strawberries----never heard of them but I'll never forget them. Yum yum! When we come back to Tybee, we will definitely be at Macelwee's.
NEVER, NEVER again!! The "Bate's Hotel" of restaurants! Owner should seek out a good therapist... I wish I had read the many, many scary reviews about this woman's completely irrational behavior on yelp and trip advisor before we went!
