Terrible terrible food. 3 out of six people in our party left without eating. Owner was extremely rude to guests and staff. When I told her she was not very nice she said your right I am not very nice.
Terrible food. I went there with bryan fichter his son his sons girlfriend my mom and my friend cam john. Bryan jrs girlfriend got sick. When older bryan said the lobster was horrible the owner said u ate it though. My mom and i went outside and were telling people waiting it was horrible she fought with us. She is extremely rude to customers and staff. Waiters are great
This place is so horrible my friends girlfriend got sick from eating it.I could eat at mcdonalds instead there.and the shrimp was very bland and the owner was so rude.
We ate at a popular restaurant on SSI last evening, and lunch here today. Food here much better. Fried shrimp, hushpuppies, tarter sauce even the fries all better at Macewlees.

Yes, it is small and unique. Be patient. It is worth the wait. Oyster on half shell were huge and fresh. Awesome grilled grouper. Good food. Good service too.
Was highly recommended. DO NOT WASTE your time! Staff is rude, they don't allow substitutions and they refused to let me order from the kid's menu (because that's all I'll eat). I ended up ordering nothing while my family all ate. Only an idiot would turn down a sale. Will NEVER return.
This place is absolutely horrible. If I could give it negative stars I would. I got a 10 oz ribeye which turned out to be a 6 oz ribeye after I trimmed off all the inedible parts. The coleslaw was bland, the baked potato was extremely overcooked and dry, and the corn was flavorless. My girlfriend was going to get the snow crab platter but wanted to substitute a baked potato for the coleslaw, didn't mind the up charge, but they allow ZERO substitutions. Well all I can say was this place was a unique experience, never have I been bounced out before entering a restaurant, after stepping onto the deck and reading "The rules", I began to follow said rules my brother behind me was almost plowed by Principal Tunchbull flinging the door open and barking drill sergeant orders to "The rules".
