Saved my butt in a bind, many times. – Working with Mac Enthusiasts over the years has been an absolute pleasure. Quality of service is what I've experienced here time and time again, so I thought I'd take some time to review their store. Being a smaller independent store, they have the freedom to do things other corporate stores can't. AVOID THIS PLACE – My dealings with MacEnthusiats have resulted in me filing complaints with the BBB of Los Angeles as well as the Department of Consumer Affairs of Los Angeles. They made several errors processing my repairs, they consistently misquoted prices for said repairs, they refused to take responsibility for all of this, they were totally disorganized, and when pushed to simply wrap everything up, the owner, Mark Greenblatt, responded by essentially throwing a tantrum via email about my complaints with their extreme... read more

Beware of this place – I took a MacBook Pro in for service and they asked if I wanted to sell it. So I left it there, they called me the next business day and offered to buy it for 400 plus. I went to pick up thhe check and they said they'd have to mail it. After 3 weeks, no check. I called 3 times, they took my number and never called back. So, basically, they ripped off my computer and now I'm going to have to chase after them in small claims court. Awful, rude, arrogant bastards – I got off the phone with this guy Daryl. He put me on hold several times and even said, "I have to talk to you by email because i have a MORE important call" He then just sent me a credit card authorization form with no more info attached. Read the rest of the reviews on CitySearch. You cant trust these people. I called Greg at MacApple Help and that guy was honest, informative, and tremendously helpful. Stay away from Macenthusiasts!!!

Steve Jobs would be proud! Mac service, done right. – I have been buying and servicing my computers at Mac Enthusiasts for 6 years, and I have nothing but nice things to say about this shop. They are a small operation who have time for their customers and actually care that you get what you want out of your computing experience. Good Deal, Good People – I bought a used Mac Book Pro from them and it was exactly what I ordered and more. The internal components had been replaced and upgraded. The shell looked brand new. If I need service it's nice knowing I have a place to go.

Great recommendations on what equipment to buy, and excellent system installation and repairs – I have bought all of my Macs from Macenthusiasts ever since they opened their shop. And I have had them deliver and set up all of the equipment. I have used their Macs to write and publish more than a dozen books.
