I LOVE LIVING HERE! – I've lived here for six months now and I love it. It's clean, staff is friendly, maintenance is very reliable and will fix any problems promptly. Large dogs are welcome and they supply baggies to pick up after your dogs, so most people do so. I definitely recommend this as a great place to live. Pros: Large windows. Washer and dryer in unit. Lofts available. Nice blinds. Wood flooring. Upgraded appliances. Discount cable and internet. Elevators in each building. Gym, basketball court and tennis courts. ... read more

Worst apartments in the state – I wish I could rate this zero stars. Currently living here for my boyfriends work, they chose and they are paying. For the money they are being paid, this place is absolutely horrid. Godzilla lives above us and they will not do anything about it, even after 3 calls. Their maintenance man is slow and sluggish. One occasion he didn't come to check the next day, he told us to wait. And an other occasion, right this moment, it has been 2 hours since I've called for my water heater going on the fri... read more

Great place to live – I don't can't comment on the previous poster's experience but I can comment on ours. We have had nothing but a great experience with ALL of the staff. We have had no problems with roaches or any other bugs for that matter. Yes there are a few tenants who do not know how to control themselves but that happens in any neighborhood, including our old neighborhood where homes are $250,000.00 - well over $400,000.00+. The apartment community can not control tenants behavior but has and does get rid of rowdy t... read more

Do NOT Live Here – The amenities offered at Post Chastain are good. The apartments are OK. The rent is overpriced and the people in the leasing office are incompetent. I would not be surprised if these people could barely string together a sentence. This is not the most comforting thing considering they are managing where I live. I am currently in the process (and GLADLY willing to pay) the early $1,700 early lease termination. This is a lot of money for a young professional to shell out to break a lease, but I am eager to d... read more

Overpriced. Poor Construction. Terrible Management. Parking Sucks. Not really much else to say about an apartment complex is there? The place has no amenities save the dinky "workout facility" and a pool that is hidden in the shade for most of the day due to being in the middle of the 4-story structure. As if the architect/engineer didn't screw the pooch bad enough there, they also designed a parking garage that is both too narrow and has nearly zero capacity for guests. The manager here is an absolute lazy bag of skin that ... read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY – These idiots actually paint their apartments with water soluble paint. When you clean the walls the paint comes off and then they charge you. You have to have your carpet cleaned before you leave. They don't count that in their over-head. They changed their billing system and now charge every resident a fee because of the 'change'. They are over-priced for the "quality" and "service." If you rent here, make sure you are at least 3-5 years in a job. They can't wait to tell you when they w... read more

When I say WORST apartment experience ever...it doesn't even cover it. I never really took these reviews seriously, but please hear this if you are considering living here. Ever since we moved in last year we have had constant problems with our heating and air conditioning unit. These apartments are not equipped with an HVAC unit that can live up to its expectations. Nor, are they insulated sufficiently to keep the air/heat inside the apartment. As I sit here writing this it is currently 83 degrees in my apartment. The manag... read more

Don't Waste Your Time or Money, Go Down the Street – First let me explain, I am one of the ORIGINAL tenants of this complex. I moved here when the apartments were first built and I was hooked by the concession deal (discounted rent) to move in. I did the 2 year lease to lock me in the price and had every intent to stay if the renewal rate would have been reasonable. The renewal rent for a 2 bedroom would've raised my monthly payment by $67, which isn't bad. However, since the last management has taken over, the service from ... read more

Surprise Rent Jack-Up RIpoff! Don't Move Here! – I have lived at Village Oaks for a year paying $1135 on a 12-month lease. I then opted for a shorter 3-month lease at $1295. Now they want me to pay $1365 for another 12-month lease instead of $1185 they offered me just last month. For a month to month, they want to charge $1775 vs. $1340 they offered last month. That's an increase of $435 in ONE MONTH! I even tried to work with them to get it straightened out, but the bottom line is they're screwing me because I did the short... read more
