Further to my previous review I made contact with M5 mechanical where they agreed that they should have informed me of any additional works and apologised, issued me with a tax invoice for the works all is good.
I've done a blue slip here, charged 200 for an engine fastening tie rod, charged 100 somewhere else, charged 400 for rim treatment, nothing was actually done, it was the worst experience!
Expect to get extorted here and pay for more than agreed price. I had a really disappointing experience here today with Fred (owner). I came in for a simple blue slip inspection, but the mechanic made me wait over 45 minutes, claiming he couldn’t find a compliance number that isn’t even required for my car. He set a timer, made me wait longer saying he couldn’t do another check for 20 minutes, and then tried to charge me double after wasting my time. Completely unprofessional and frustrating experience.
