When I asked for it, the lady said it wasn't available. I then picked up other samples and was told that I would get an email that evening with the samples' names. I never got an email. I had a terrible experience with MSI Building Supply in Hayward. I called at 8:00 AM to arrange a will-call pickup for 1:00 PM, thinking that would give them more than enough time to pull the order. When I arrived, there was no one ahead of me, yet I ended up waiting over an hour for my materials. There were plenty of employees around, but no one took initiative or seemed willing to help. My clients found the hardwood they wanted at this company and asked me to open an account to help them make the purchase. Apparently, this is a “premium” supplier where they offer two prices: a massively inflated retail price for walk-ins, and a contractor price you can only access if you open an account.
