I have been getting my lashes done by Helen for two years now. Having had lashes applied at other salons before, I can honestly say that Helen is the best lash artist I've ever had. She works quickly so I'm not having to spend an hour and a half lying still for a lash refill. Instead, I spend 30 minutes, every two or three weeks to get full and beautiful lashes every time. I truly enjoyed my experience with Helen at MLASH. I am relocating from CT to NJ and am sad to be leaving such an amazingly professional salon. 🥹
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I came in requesting baby doll lashes—a specific, well-known lash style—and I even showed a clear reference photo. Instead of doing what I asked for, the lash tech gave me hybrid lashes and justified it by saying hybrid would “pop more” on my skin tone. I do not recommend going here. I got my lashes done by Helen and she took 20-25 minutes but charged $89. Lashes should take at least 45 minutes. The first red flag should have been that she didn’t use a light. She also kept opening my eyes fully with her fingers after placing every lash, this is not safe for your eyes due to the fumes. Then when I got home I noticed how damaged my lashes were because she used way too much glue and glued multiple lashes stuck together. This is poor isolation. Things you should know before you book - They do not apply lash bath before applying product/ chemical to your lashes for a new set. - They do not use lash remover. They use tweezers to break up the glue and pluck. Destroying your natural lashes permanently. And they charge you $45 to do this. - They do not fan lashes. They pull clumps from the strips, glue directly on your skin and over load your individual lashes.
