A lady came in crying about how her nails were burning from the service done yesterday, saying she saw them use a dirty nail file and towel with her. Her wedding was the next day. The lady “Yen” started screaming in her face saying it’s her fault for not saying anything about it, she’s lying for money, and that if she wants a refund they have to remove the nails. My heart wept for the bride who ended up getting an infection because they used the same dirty towel and nail file as on others. Also it’s crazy they charged her $60 for a very short French tip set yet charged me $80 for an all white small almond set. I wonder if they’re even allowed to operate in the state of California. I will never be going here again and if you care about your health, nails, and even just mental health, this salon is not for you.
TLDR; horrible service. Never go here. This nail salon is a complete scam. For an extra small French tip set that was poorly done, I was charged $80. The lady that did my nails kept shoving my hands and filing my skin. She said that if I want my dry cuticles cut (which is a basic part of the mani pedi service) it would be an extra $10, so I said no. Been going here for over ten years on and off up until recently everything was fine until I had an absolutely horrible experience and was completely disappointed with both my manicure and pedicure. My appointment was fine until I asked for my pedicure nail polish to be redone because it was lumpy. The tech got mad and walked away and was refusing to fix it.
