Had my appointment yesterday with Emily S. i believe her name was. Let me start off by saying she made me so uncomfortable. Not once did she smile at me. She treated me like someone who shouldn't have a baby. Let me tell you I cried after I left questioning if im fit to carry this baby. I would love to of seen what she was typing as she kept justifying to me why she was typing after she told me that "given my history" they will be doing all sorts of drug testing, keeping my umbilical cord for days. After two disappointing interactions with LVHN ob/gyn doctors, I decided to transfer my care to St. Luke's. I felt rushed and dismissed in my concerns, at times was spoken to with condescension, and overall I do not feel the doctors appreciate the importance of patient-doctor collaboration for optimal care.
Came here during my pregnancy and had a good experience. But now, I’ve been trying to make an appointment for the last two weeks. No one answers the phone or returns phone calls.
Was sent here from Worker's Compensation because I suffered a POP as a result of heavy lifting at work for years. Sent me back to work after 8 weeks stating lifting did not cause my POP. So I got to go back to a job that continued to exacerbate my condition. My current Gyn Doc says she does not agree that lifting repeatedly does not cause POP, plus I know what my experience was. Some doctors are going to sell out or not go against protocol, in spite of how it affects women's health and this place is a great example.
