Luxor Gardens is a very nice place to live. I lived here twice. When I was ! and now I'm 63. Yes the complex is old but, The residents I have met are very nice. The Office personal are topps. They have a 65 year old buildings that they are taking care of. Yes, there are much nicer places to live in Johnstown but, for the money and peace it's well worth it. I would like to give two thumbs up for the Office and maintenance staff they are doing hellava job here! Regards D Winstanley
I would never suggest moving to Luxor Gardens. Management is terrible and never do their jobs. Kate is rude and unreliable. Maintenance are disgusting they smoke anywhere they want with no consideration to the people living there and gossip about the tenants in front of and to other tenants. The apartments are freezing cold even with heat kicked up and way to hot in the summer with terrible ventilation. They claim to put new carpets in and have repainted but the carpet in my apartment was easily 6 years old. Overall they jus... read more
Actually they don't even deserve 1 star. Probably the most unresponsive management I have ever encountered. Stay away from this place, it is operated like a slum and management retaliates if you dare complain.
Management needs to be nicer and listen to their tenants before jumping on them. I was a manager of 100 homes for 7 years. That hurts the people. You got good people and bad people. That don't mean you judge them and yell. Also you don't go smoke pot with the maintenance guys in the basements. Neighbors are too close and yes you do have several complaints.
