Not my first chose in hospitals When chosing a hospital for health care in fort wayne, Luthern is not my top choice. I do not care for thier ER staff, and the ladies that do the registering well they are not so nice. The nurses that took care of me in the ER were very short, and non concerned. I wouldn't send an emeny there let alone a loved one. PROS: none to mention CONS: staff
Dana Harter This hospital has NO concern for its patients. They included false and harmful information in my medical records. The nurses included false and harmful information in my medical records and refused to correct them. The ER and staff were informed that they had a patient with a possible stroke, after determining it was not Hemorrhagic the doctors, nurses hospital or someone should had administered tPA within 3 hours, and did not do so, resulting in permanent disability. Fantastic!! I recently had my son at the Childbirth center and absolutely loved it! The nurses were great and the delivery went without a hitch! Thank you Lutheran! PROS: Fantastic nurses, very professional and waited on me hand and foot!! CONS: Too bad i can't find any service like this at home!!!
Lutheran This is really the place to go. I have had 3 children there and LOVE it. You get such great help from everyone and they are so very friendly. From the nurses to the maids even the lady in charge came and visited my room. I have also used the NICU and they took great care of my baby. I have had a child stay on the Peds floor to and supurb is what I can say about the nurses who took care of him. I always drive from out of town to go there! Thanks Lutheran
Wonderful Hospital This is a great place to go if you or having a child or just need a hospital. I have had three children there and I was always treated very well. If I had any questions or concerns the nurses were ther to help me. What a great place!!
An excellent hospital to have a baby at I chose Lutheran Hospital to have my second child at, and I'm glad I did. I found the Lutheran maternity floor to be less busy and chaotic than Parkview's, and I got more individual attention. Things just seemed calm during my stay, and I was treated well by the staff and nurses. The care my daughter and I received was excellent, and I would recommend Lutheran Hospital to anyone expecting a baby. PROS: excellent care, friendly staff CONS: none
Brutal I had the poor luck to see him in ER twice. The first time he ordered a medication that constituted an overdose as written...and was when taken. The second he sutured a cut with vengeance. The only thing I believe he's really interested in is Hockey.
Very knowledgeable staff I had one of my babies at lutheran. I felt my stay there was fine. This was my first child and everyone thought it would take a long time. So my Doctor went out for dinner. Luckily I had a very knowledgeable nurse and she delivered my baby. She was very calm about everything and I never second guessed her decision. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was alright.
