Unacceptable Service I took my newly purchased Audi to the official dealer; I thought a luxury car deserved luxury service, but that is NOT what I encountered. This is what I found: It took Audi 16 days to provide my car a few hours of service. I was charged DOUBLE my original quote with NO additional work being performed. My car was returned with the same problem unresolved, with the check engine light ON.
Dirito Brothers Used Cars is average When I was in the market for a used car, I went to Dirito Brothers in Walnut Creek. The selection was good and I had a blast test driving the cars - a Saab, VW, to name a few. The sales people were sales people, but once you put your foot down a little they lighten up a bit. I ended up at the Toyota Dealership with a used Camry, but I did enjoy going to this place.
happyschmelzcustomer Just got my 3rd VW from Schmelz. Ralph Ludden was great to work with...he was very professional and answered all my questions and concerns. I've been with this dealership for 8 years and work across the street for the VW dealership in Inver Grove but always come back here. The service guys are great and always make sure that I am taken care of. I highly reccommend this place!
Great service all around I returned to Schmelz Countryside VW this spring when it was time to replace my wife's '02 Saturn. Within a minute of entering the showroom Christine Bakken was helping me with option packages, pricing, and finance options for the 2015 Jetta that eventually found its way into our garage. Love my GTI; Ralph Ludden is the Best! I just purchased my second VW from Schmelz and Ralph Ludden made buying a new car so much fun! Ralph took the time to listen to what I want in a vehicle. Ralph is open, honest and thorough. We discussed the pros and cons of various models, and he let me test drive nearly every vehicle on the lot to find exactly what I need! Shop Mgr threatened to hit us Mike (shop manager?) threatened to hit me and my fiancé in front of customers, staff and the sales manager. Stood face to face with him and he wanted to "bring it on". Can you believe it? We tried to get help from the Sales Manager, felt sorry for the guy. He just stood there and didn't know what to say. Waited 3 hours to get an oil change and service decided we should've "made an appointment" for their "Express Service". So we didn't get the oil change or the blower fan looked at. TERRIBLE!!! Luther Westside is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure working with. I bought a 2012 Routan and 3 days after I noticed the CD player was not functioning correctly. I returned to the dealership to have it examined and they also found the CD player to be defective. They replaced the CD player with the same model and the exact same problem was happening.
