Not a great place to go for service I took my car (VW Jetta) here because the check engine light came on. The customer service person called me to tell me I needed to replace the catalytic converter at a cost of $1100, but could not tell me what the cat. converter does or why I needed a new one. I think a business that is asking for that much money should be able to explain the part to you! The person I worked with was not able to answer the questions I asked. Director of Programs and Services I am always very impressed with the service and the team at Luther Westside Volkswagen. This last time I worked with Rhienhardt and Justin in service, they were both extremely helpful and made my visit a pleasure. It is always an inconvience when you need to bring in your car, but they make it almost a pleasure. I also appreciate all the communication I receive from e-mails and the methods of follow up.
Shop Mgr threatened to hit us Mike (shop manager?) threatened to hit me and my fiancé in front of customers, staff and the sales manager. Stood face to face with him and he wanted to "bring it on". Can you believe it? We tried to get help from the Sales Manager, felt sorry for the guy. He just stood there and didn't know what to say. Waited 3 hours to get an oil change and service decided we should've "made an appointment" for their "Express Service". So we didn't get the oil change or the blower fan looked at. VW owner I have been a VW owner for 30 years. I have owned additional other cars for work over the years, but nothing compares to the quality of a VW, including the body design, the interior design, & the engine. The customer service & the sales people at Westside are ALWAYS on the ball & attentive to my needs.
TERRIBLE!!! Luther Westside is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure working with. I bought a 2012 Routan and 3 days after I noticed the CD player was not functioning correctly. I returned to the dealership to have it examined and they also found the CD player to be defective. They replaced the CD player with the same model and the exact same problem was happening. AVOID AT ALL COSTS I purchased a vehicle from West Side 3 years ago and was lied to about the promises made with the purchase. They promise a full tank, discount gas & in this case free washes and oil changes for life. When I picked up the car they had to take it back to fill it up only at my request. The discount gas card and other discount service coupons were never provided & the oil changes / car washes were ignored. Edina Family from Cairo Our experience was very good. Helton was helpful, thoughtful and listened to our needs in looking for a used car within our budget that worked for our family. The only drawback was how long it took to meet with the purchasing manager because of how busy it was that day.
Tami Great experience, especially since I was not too excited about the whole prospect of buying a new car.
