Luray Caverns was amazing I was there with a group 3-8-18. Our tour she very pleasant and don’t rush and wait for the others and answers all the questions.
Neat Place to visit, and you got to hear the organ as it echo through the caverns.
When compared with other local caverns, Luray is a highly commercialized and crowded venue. The tour groups were very large and it was difficult to hear the guides despite them having microphones. The information that could be heard sounded very monotonous and scripted, rather than fun and interactive. Also, multiple children and adults could be seen touching the formations despite being advised that this was not allowed. One child was even seen banging and scratching the walls with a rock!
