Great attraction, been to the Yarangobilly cave in Australia as well and I can say Luray cavern is excellent....
Pops Freedom is part of a 5 year journey to live in every state for a month. It includes visiting parks and interesting locations and Luray Caverns is a can't miss for anyone traveling on I-81 corridor.

The Luray Caverns are hands down one of the most AMAZING sites I've ever seen. It was interesting to hear the history from the tour guide but there were times I would've loved to linger in different places versus moving on with the tour. As with any group there were some that weren't as respectful as they should've been in terms of politely listening and it would've been good for those with disruptive children to be led away for the listening pleasure of the majority of the group.
