Might just be the best spot in Charlotte I been a loyal customer for years, I grew up on Lupie's nachos
I love love love their Texas Chili Mac. As a matter of fact my whole family does. So If I go to Lupies to eat I'm required to bring home to go orders. Also love the Chicken casserole. Wish that would be on the menu everyday & not just Tuesdays special.
This was my third trip to this was my third trip to Lupie's. As usual the food was great but this time the service from my supposed server was atrocious. I'm not sure what prompted the attitude from the blonde and purple dyed waitress but the other servers are so nice and attentive. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a refill especially when the dish you ordered is chili. Maybe its a thing of the past or maybe i caught them on a bad night. Used to come to lupies 3 or 4 times a month. This used to be our beer and nacho spot with its cheap beer and heaping piled high nachos we loved it!!!! This last visit it seemed that they ran short on nachos and air conditioning. When the server put down the nachos it resembled a plate of tortilla chips that my son would have microwaved himself. Lacking all toppings and was just a pile of dry crushed chips.
