I love this place, people, and food so much. If you could ever call a restaurant your home Lupie's would be it.
I've been coming to Lupies since the late 80s. I've seen it go from a handful of tables, to an extension, and survive a car wreck. I've never been disappointed in the food or the fellowship. When Charlotte in many ways was still a city divided by race, gender, and class politics, Lupies was a place where folks came together and celebrated. Love Lupie's. Love the staff. Great chili, burgers and chicken casserole! Awesome.
First Visit, Pleasantly surprised. Great food, Host shared a variety of items on the menu.
Nachos and cold beer. I miss this place since I moved away so I hit it up whenever I'm back to visit.
Meatloaf was absolutely perfect...along with mashed potatoes that were "off the hook!" Well done! :)
