RecommendedIt's was Great and Awesome!! I do recommend this restaurant to anyone who love tex-mex food.
Ate at lunchtime. The establishment was full, but the wait time was a reasonable 15 minutes. Once seated, our server, Greg, showed up quickly and took our order both efficiently and courteously. The food was well prepared. The chicken in the chicken fajita wrap was delicious as were the other items. The location was a little tricky to find as the buildings weren't logically set out. But parking was easy and convenient.
Lupes has been one of my favs for years. Living out in Lost Valley Dripping Springs for 20 years made this location closest place for Tex-Mex. I have been living in West Over Hills almost 2 years and regularly go to Arbor Walks Lupe Tortillas and have always left happy. Tonight, though, despite being there for o go back to Arbor Walks location and will spend my $$$ at many of the other Tex-Mex places in Austin #WTF?
This is one of our favorit spots we visit at least once every 2 weeks, if not every week. It's our 1st Go-To place. We always order the same thing - mixed fajitas and add the jalapeno sausage. The meat is so tender (beef) and chicken as well. The sausage has just the right spice to it and not overly spicey. We try to get the same waiter - or sit in his section - IVAN! One of the best places to eat. The food was excellent and the service was great, as usual. My visit there yesterday was a little different. Once home I realized I left my prescription eyeglasses on the table. I called and the person I spoke with said "Yes, they're in my pocket!" Whomever cleared the table could've easily kept them and sold them for the Prada frame and case! But they didn't. What's not to like at Lupe Tortilla? The best fajitas on the planet with fixings to match! Homemade flour and corn tortillas wrapped around melt in your mouth fajita meat. The service provided by our waiter, Josh, couldn't have been better and we were visited by the manager, Nick, and Adam the kitchen manager. You blew us out of the water, Lupe Tortilla...thanks for an exceptional dining experience
Best frozen margaritas in Austin! Chicken Lupe is amazing.
Tasty food and good service. I had taco salad with chicken. Even the lunch portion was enough for 2 meals.
