I first met Dr. Paula Lunt when she was in school at U.C.L.A Later she met me at the Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare. I joined the Army and returned to Los Angeles. After working with the VA to get Disability, I have received it and now I am sixty-one and an out patient with The West Los Angeles VA Medical Center.
Dr. Lunt does not have a receptionist so the person who wrote a bad review is confusing her with someone else. Dr. Lunt is great doctor. She is very compassionate and insightful.
Let’s start with her front office. The receptionist should be replaced by a younger, much more bubbly outgoing person. The current one is a grouch. I’ve found that both the receptionist and Dr. Lunt will find every and any opportunity to scold you about something you’ve done wrong. Horrible customer service. If you’re looking for a regular non academic counsellor this isn’t the person for you. She is good but only as an academic therapist.
