Kamal has done my hair for over three years now. He does a great job of listening to my vision but i’ve also gone in and said do whatever you think looks good and i always leave feeling amazing! He’s professional and the overall team at Lumen Salon is so high class but also friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Literally the best hair of my life! I grew up in Dallas and have been in DC for 4 years, I have never found a salon that I quite loved until Kamal at Lumen!! I have been dying my hair blonde since I was in middle school, the color he gave me is the best I have ever had. I got hand tied extensions as well, a totally seamless and natural blend. I found my DC salon home!
I had the best experience at Lumen! Kamal got my color just right! The salon is clean, everyone is friendly, and they’re truly experts at their craft. Highly recommend!
Shana is absolutely the best at cuts, natural color, and styling. She is also the sweetest human and delivers a five star experience for every client. I’ve been seeing Shana for years now and will continue to do so as long as she is doing hair! Update 2024: Reece is also amazing and has the best vibe and caring touch, I absolutely love seeing her and she does an awesome job!
