We are located in the heart of the Barbecue capital of the world, in the Galleria area of Houston and easily accessible from any part of the city. Luling City Market was founded by the Craig family in 1981 and has been family owned and operated for over 30 years, bringing the distinct Central Texas Barbque style to the city. I grew up 15 miles away from the original Luling City Market.. In Luling,Texas.. The brisket, sausage, beans, potato salad and bbq sauce was dead on the exact same.. Nice clean place.. The guys who served us were very polite and helpful.. The prices are a little more than 2 times the prices that I paid in Luling, Texas.. The lady behind the bar never acknowledged us as we came in nor when we left.. Which seemed kinda weird to us..
