AVOID THIS PLACE!! Horrible Management. – My wife and I were among three or four groups of dinners complaining about a large, loud party of guests. The manager sent the waiters out to tell us that he was busy before showing the courtesy (and courage) to come out and speak to us directly about the issue. His solution to the situationoffer to buy us a drink the NEXT time we come to the restaurant!!?? Needless to say, we will never taste those drinks or visit Lula again. My girlfriend and I decided to try this restaurant out on friday night after finding other restaurants in the area had a recommended wait time of an hour. We walked into this place and although it was busy, we were seated with only a short wait(5 minutes). Although its not the healthiest food, I was really impressed with the Queso Fundido(w/mushrooms) and the lobster tacos. Great Casual Dining – We live nearby at stop at Lula at least once a week. It has a great patio and the restaurant has a laid-back, fun feel. The staff is always really friendly and service is great. We love the margaritas - the Lula packs a serious punch (have more than two and you're out), and the Blue Adobe and other specialties are really tasty. The chips & guacamole are excellent, and the rest of the food is pretty good for a cheap, fun Mexican restaurant

fun with friends – I have been here with friends for drinks. I havent had the food but the chips and salsa are good. We go to the bar. It's really fun to go after work or on a friday night for a few drinks and to relax with friends.

Never again – We live near Lula's and have been here a couple times for convenience, but never again. On our most recent trip we had visitors in town and it was an embarrassment taking them here. The service was bad, the food was worse, and when we mentioned to the manager that we had waited nearly 45 min. (and the place was not busy) to give our order he blamed it on his "new" waiter. We watched uncomfortably as he gave him lashings off in the corner. Very unpleasant

Generic Mexican Food – There's nothing that distinctive about Lula's. The appetizer sampler consists of various deep fried items, none of which do much for the taste buds. I had heard good things about their margaritas, but I found them to be heavy on the Triple Sec, and that's about all. They make a big deal about their chicken mole dish, but compared to the many authentic Oaxan places around town, it's passable but not spectacular. I will give them props for having a nice patio. The service is usually pretty good as well.
