He is friendly up to date and inclusive
I don´t recommend this place at all. I only added one star because of Dr. Nichols. He is kind but appointment was short and rushed (5 minutes max), I was afraid he would miss something. Staff is the ruddiest, unprofessional, laziest, with the worst manners I have ever seen. It is impossible for my child sake to go there.

Nurses were horrible. They refused to help me on the phone even though I explained how urgent it was, leaving me no choice but to go seek help someplace else. My child who was never afraid of going to the doctor´s office is now terrified of paying a visit to the doctor. The nurse who checked him up was rude, hands on, pushed him and pulled him and snapped at him when he did not understand what was expected of him. The very strong tall nurse who came for the immunizations was the same, rude, hands on, forcing him to do things... read more
I like dr Nichols very much, he s enthusiastic, optimistic, gives pratical and consistent advice. His nurses are knowledgeable and kind.

We think we have an incredible staff too! They work hard to deliver compassionate care. It's always nice to see messages like this. -Ascension Via Christi Community Manager
Dr. Nichols is a wonderful pediatrician. Children really like him. He listens and is very personable, and knowledgeable. He is never gruff, smiles easily, and speaks directly with children. Calling can be a long wait, but once in office, goes quickly. I do prefer to see him as opposed to mid-levels in his office, however.
Dr. Nichols has been our pediatrician for almost 2 years. Having moved a lot for the military, he is our 7th one. Pros: the office is very punctual; it's rare that I have to wait more than 5 mins past our appt time. He's friendly and great with the kids. Cons: It's difficult to get an appt with him unless it's scheduled a week in advance, so for illnesses we usually have to see the PA. The biggest complaint, though, is the time spent. I always feel rushed & he is usually in & out in under 5 mins
He's almost magical with the kids...they all love him. He voluntarily came in on the Sunday night after Christmas to complete a circumcision for my baby! He's practical, kind, and clearly competent. Middle of the road in terms of old-school vs. "natural medicine"... but probably bent a bit toward traditional meds.
I have 3 girls and we've been seeing him for at least 10 yrs and He is so patient and down to earth. My girls are comfortable when visiting with him, My daughter actually had a foreign object lodged in her nose once, and he was so calm and it helped the both of us. He dislodged it in a moments time. He is so lighthearted:)
My daughter has been seeing him since she was two months old. She is now four. She loves him and he puts this mama at ease. Dr. Nichols is very personable.
