Luigi's originated in 1984 in Clymer, PA a small community in Indiana County. The Clymer location was originally a tavern. William "Skip" Tate along with two of his sons, Louis and Edward, decided to buy the building and introduce an Italian menu to the area. With no prior restaurant experience, Louis and Edward were blessed with the help and guidance of their father, Skip and Mother, Barbara. We are blessed to have such a great restaurant so close!
Luigi restaurant is a great place to go for dinner . There chicken maria and stuffed mushrooms are really good. Enjoyed my meal when I was there last christmas and would go back agian . There cooks do a Awesome job cooking the dinners and very friendly wait staff .
The staff are always so friendly and eager to please. They remember my wife and I and treat us as valuable patrons every time we are there. The food is consistently good. No hit and miss experiences here. They have a wonderful veal special that I love.
I ordered a salad and got a huge plate of nearly all lettuce! Son ordered a personal pizza--took forever to get it! My husband ordered a sandwich and it was very dry. I got so much salad that I ended up splitting it with my husband and son. The salad was way too big. I am so glad that that was all I ordered. It would have been a waste. My husband said his bun was over toasted. My sons pizza was plain and I was charged a bundle for it. The waitress was very annoying.
