Luigi's originated in 1984 in Clymer, PA a small community in Indiana County. The Clymer location was originally a tavern. William "Skip" Tate along with two of his sons, Louis and Edward, decided to buy the building and introduce an Italian menu to the area. With no prior restaurant experience, Louis and Edward were blessed with the help and guidance of their father, Skip and Mother, Barbara. We always have great food here. The cheesecake is sooo delicious. I’ve never ordered anything I didn’t like. I’ve been dying for some vodka sauce. Was so happy to see it on the menu this weekend so we made plans to go today. But to my disappointment they are out of it! Seems they always run out of the weekend specials before the weekend is over. Everyone must like it. It would be great if it was added as a regular sauce not just on an occasional weekend.
Excellent meals this evening. We had a party of six. Our waitress was wonderful, & the entrees were delicious.
