Luigi's originated in 1984 in Clymer, PA a small community in Indiana County. The Clymer location was originally a tavern. William "Skip" Tate along with two of his sons, Louis and Edward, decided to buy the building and introduce an Italian menu to the area. With no prior restaurant experience, Louis and Edward were blessed with the help and guidance of their father, Skip and Mother, Barbara. RecommendedMet a sorority sister for a mid afternoon catch up yesterday. I have to eat gluten free (but hate gluten free pasta. Gross). Our waitress was a complete sweetheart and went back to ask the chef if I could substitute broccoli for the pasta. They were happy to accommodate and my chicken Alfredo over broccoli was heaven. Such a cozy, delicious restaurant. Two thumbs up!
I had the Veal Parm today and it was unbelievable! I can’t wait to go back!

Luigi’s is a restaurant where you are treated like family. Authentic Italian food, courteous, friendly staff. Whenever we are in the area a stop a Luigi’s is a must.
