If you have never had the tandoori salmon salad, you have not lived! There is a good reason there is a wait --- the food is memorable, fresh and fantastic. Oh! If only I lived in Evanston and not Kansas City, I would eat there all the time!

The best food I've ever eaten! The Yankee Pot Roast was UNBELIEVABLE! Fried Green Tomatoes were great also!

Sweet potato fries are to die for: crispy, not greasy - absolutely perfect. Pulled pork sandwich was excellent. Never had an Eggplant Parmesan sandwich - superb. Tuna melt on corn bread positively exquisite. Chicken Pot Pie in its own bread bowl which disappeared completely. Vanilla cream soda was superb. We didn't get to meet the boss, he was at meeting. Highly recommended. Our waitress Kelly was spot on taking care of us. The decor is kitchy, quirky and cute.
