It was poop. There are so many other taco joints in San Diego that are far superior to this gimmick.
After all the hype I heard about them I decided to go check them out. Ordered a Surfn California burrito. It's was very skinny burrito. No flavor whatsoever. I'll just say this. "Meh" go to a taco truck and save your money.
Food quality is not what it usually is. I will try again

Mu son and I visited this morning. We have been to a LOT of taco shops. He said that the El Jefe burrito was the best burrito he's ever had. Service was great and the salsa bar was a dream come true.
The Nutty burrito with Adobada was the BOMB!!!
Cool atmosphere with unique decor. All I could think about was Jack Black � Food was very good but not out of this world. Still highly recommended!
