Fair Prices – After being treated poorly at another establishment on Western for tire replacement, I called Lucas Tires. I reached Sandy and received excellent service which was helpful and honest. She was understanding of my crazy night shift RN schedule. The mechanic staff was timely with updates especially when I added on a few more basic services (changed the air filter, alignment and oil change). The prices were fair. I will definitely visit them again when needed.
Clean and Comfortable – I've been going to Lucas Tires for years. After a few bad experiences as a new Chicago resident, I found Lucas tire through a friend's recommendation. The environment is clean and comfortable, service quick and honest, and the staff is very friendly.
I've been having just a little trouble with my automatic transmission. It wasn't doing too badly under 10 miles per hour or over 45 miles per hour, but while on main streets it would fight me to change gears and speed up to the speed of traffic. I went to Lucas' garage, and was surprised that they new exactly what the problem was, cuz I sure didn't. Anyway, I'm glad I went there because it makes a big difference to have my car running right. They do good work. I can vouch for that.
This is the only place I go to get tires. I am always satisfied.
Tires are affordable here – Lucas Tires is a breath of fresh air!!!! I was treated so well by Sandy and the mechanic took good care of my car. (FYI rates are affordable here) Chicago needs more of this kind of personal service.
My dad has been going to Lucas for years, so of course when I needed tires he sent me to Lucas. I was treated like family. I won't go anywhere else as long as I live in Chicago.
Really good people – Okay, so have you ever had to deal with the most difficult customer?? The demanding one who needs everything for as cheap and quick as possible??? I was like that when I went to Lucas tires and I gotta tell ya, I feel bad about it cuz they're really good people. I recommend them.
Hard Workers – I came in right at closing time with an emergency and STILL received fast, friendly and courteous service even though the shop looked like it was still very busy. These guys work hard and they're all great workers.
No Questions Asked – Best price around the neighborhood! I really liked the receptionist. I think her name was Sandy! She was able to explain everything I needed like the prices, procedures, etc. The technician actually showed me what an alignment is and where the alignment is located by tire. It was nice to get full details and be shown things without having to ask.
