Dr Lucas has been my dentist for close to 20 years I date back to his old office across the driveway Dr Lucas has treated me with personal attention, impressive care and expert knowleadge about his art and about my dental care. After I left Walnut Creek for San Ramon, I continued to use his services. 8 years later I bought a house in Pleasanton and still travelled to Walnut Creek to seek out his services. Dr Lucas is one of the best dentists I've ever had. He really goes the extra mile when it comes to quality. He takes his time to make sure the job is done right. He has actually 'fixed' several dental procedures that other dentists have done. He's also sensitive about how much work needs to be done. From out of area; needed emergency repair of separated crown. Looked for Academy of Restorative Dentistry member, of which Dr. Lucas is one. Certainly one of the finest of the group based on work done. Given an immediate appointment, no waiting and complete explanation of what was going to be done to re-cement gold crown. Assistant Kathy very helpful and knowledgeable. Dr.s' work was expert and thorough. Would definitely go there again. As good as is the work done by my regular dentist of two decades, also an Academy member.
Dr. Lucas and his staff are caring, accomodating, and extremely professional. Dr. Lucas is not only the best Dentist I have found in my 66 years, he also is an artisan when it comes to hs practice of denistry. I could not reccommend him highly enough.
Dr. Lucas is fantastic. He was my dentist for 6 years - 5 of those I spent in Davis and drove over an hour to Walnut Creek twice a year to see him. He did an excellent job on my crowns and bridges the first year I saw him so I just kept him as my regular dentist after that. Unfortunately I've moved to Washington, DC and that's too far to drive, even for Dr. Lucas.
