Honestly I have been going to Loyola for years, but I never understood why they book scheduled appointments and then take up to 2 hrs to actually get into the exam room to speak to patient. I know their time is valuable and they are overworked but so is the patients time. In the last week I have seen 2 Dr's at loyola and both visits I sat in the exam room for over an hour and a half waiting for the dr to come in. They send student Dr's in before them and that adds to the time and makes the wait longer. So appts now have gone... read more

If it weren't for them, I wouldn't be here today ❤️ It's not the nicest looking hospital. The ER is awful and always packed. I've sat there for 9 1/2 before swelling up like a balloon all day and well into the night. However, I have loved my Dr's from there and they've all been amazing. I've put mine through a lot of crap & they still saved my love more than once.

1 star is even too many. I recently had a blood draw at Loyola Lab and, unfortunately, the experience was horrendous. The staff member who assisted me was dismissive and entirely lacked bedside manner, which made me feel uncomfortable during the procedure. Following the visit, I experienced persistent discomfort in my arm that I did not expect and have potential nerve damage. the people who work in the lab at the front desk are horrible. The latina woman working on Wednesday was rude and in a rush. They need to stop hiring people who DON'T want to work! There are plenty of good hospitals to go to and I will choose one of them.

The black woman working the desk today in the 2 o'clock with the bushy hair and dark skin was extremely rude. She had an attitude when she was asked a question. Why do you work here then? You wanted sit at the desk and play with your phone all day and think no one is going to talk to you? Get people that want to work and not just collect a cheap check!
