The catfish was a very nice surprise. 2 big thick fillets delicately fried, tender as can be. The Cole slaw as a side is about the best you will find in tville. We also had the greens, fried green tomatoes, and fried pickles. All so very good. I hope everyone in our sleepy little town finds their way there at some point. Southern cooking touches my soul, and this place takes me back to my roots. I will point all my friends in their direction.

Not knowing if my husband would be working or not on Thanksgiving (firefighter) we decided to let Loyd Have Mercy cook the majority of the food that we would take to our family dinner. We knew it would be good because we've never had a bad experience at their restaurant. Turns out the food was superb. We didn't tell anyone that we had someone else cook for us and I had family members asking for the collard green recipe, asking if the corn muffins were made from scratch, etc.. They now have a Thanksgiving dinner customer for ... read more

Very courteous server and hostess, and the prices are fair. I tried the lunch 6 mild wings and fries. sorry but the wings were under cooked and the mild sauce was sweet. The peach cobbler was pure cinnamon and sugar could not taste the peaches. My wife did love the shrimp and onion rings. Still, l won't judge the entire menu from this one visit.

You may have restaurants you drive by all the time on your way to eat elsewhere. There’s a relatively new place on US 1 in Titusville called Loyd Have Mercy. Soul food, seafood, and Bar B Cue. Susan and I went there Firday evening, not really knowing what to expect. I got garlic butter crabs with cole slaw and carrot souffle. Sue got shrimp with the same sides. OUTSTANDING! My only complaint concerned crab size- they were kind of small. But as far as the quality of preparation, everything was wonderful. We’ll be going back. ... read more

Possibly the best fried chicken I've EVER had. I'm from Mississippi, and that's saying a lot. Also, sides are homemade and the Garlic Parmesan wings are absolutely the best I've ever had. This is my new favorite place. Also, Linda, our server was amazing. I can't wait to go back.
