Came in to buy a full set of appliances; whatever they had in stock. We were desperate. After waiting for almost 30 minutes, we leave. And walk up by seven people standing up front talking…Walked right over and took my business to Sears.
They are not enforcing the mask mandate. When employees were questioned they just shrugged and walk away.
Ordered kick plates for doors. Items arrived missing screws and bent. They shipped screws and replacement kick plates, but 1 of the 3 replacements also arrived damaged. I sent them pics of damaged item and they refused to send me another one. I live 80 miles from nearest store and was told I had to return it to store. They eventually said they would refund for the last damaged item and to expect refund to card within 28 days! Ridiculous and horrible service!
We called to speak with the store manager and were sent to a phone line which hung up on us six times. When we asked the person who answered the seventh time about it he stated the Manager was not in. This person stated they were the assistant manager and was going to forward our call to the same dead end. we called to complain that we paid for carpet in July and we still don't have it. installers just called and postponed again. Definitely will be going to Home Depot. Zero customer service and when we did finally get someone to help us he did not answer our questions. Just volunteered his own opinion. We left with nothing.

What's happening to customer service and courteous employees in general these days? It seems to get worse and worse every time we are in the store. My pregnant wife goes in there today and walks by 3 employees who don't say a word to her. Makes it back to the garden department, struggles to get a sheet of lattice down by her self before an employee sees her struggling and comes to help, yet doesn't offer to carry it up to the front for her while she continues shopping.
