I came into this location to purchase a storage cabinet. Without boring people with specifics, I felt unable to get the help I needed to lift the cabinet onto a cart, 3 female workers did come but the 174 lb cabinet was hard to get pulled out. Then after 2 calls be the cashier, no one came to help load the cabinet. I was heading to customer service to complain and I recruited someone after he finished helping another customer. Very friendly help and a nice clean store
I normally shop Lowe's first, so I went this morning for materials to build a small 8'x8' deck, but it seems they are out of wood. I just shut my mouth and walked out when I was told that they don't have 4x4x8s or 2x6x8s; which were the first 2 items on my list.
Went to get materials for a raised flower bed today and Randal was very helpful. He made it an easy and quick trip. Also, seemed to be a veteran, so thank you Randal for your service at your job and your service to our country!
Ordered some lumber online for pickup. Got home and 37 boards were the wrong size. Called the store, said they would have the right boards ready for exchange. No apology. Got to the store, not only did customer service not know about the boards so they weren't ready, they also did not apologize. Over all I spoke with 3 of your associates and none of them apologized for the mix up or the inconvenience of having to return to the store. I wanted some inexpensive outdoor carpet to lay on the ground while I work on my vehicle. Your Mount Vernon Illinois store listed some for 18c per square foot on clearance (item 894352). I went in last Friday but it was gone. Emp said it hasn't been in stock for days and tried to sell me something else. This is STILL listed as in stock at that store. Why? I wish we could give stars as opposed to “recommend” or “not recommend” as I hate to punish a whole company because of one garbage employee, but I cannot believe the amount of disrespect my family has faced from a delivery man named Pete over the past couple days.
