This isn't our local Lowes location, we ordered a Christmas tree from this location when all the ones in our area sold out. While there was an initial debacle with getting it shipped out, I got some absolutely fantastic customer service from the manager on duty there today and the shipping/receiving department. Super nice, really great response time and follow up, and even refunded our initial shipping charge because of the mixup. I couldn't be more pleased with how our situation was corrected! I found every item I was looking for (and then some); and every associate especially Tom was knowledgeable and helpful and very pleasant. How can you not love a place, especially when they let you bring in your dog.
Everyone was so helpful. I was helped by four people in different areas of the store. One guy helped twice. I wish I had gotten their names. Great job!!
Why do you have two people working the registers that are in training in the lawn & garden section at the same time and the lines are 5 or 6 people deep?
Ordered a washing machine online and was informed it was in stock. Arranged delivery etc. Husband got a text early this morning saying they would be delivering it before noon. Poor guy usually sleeps late on Sundays but got up and hurried to disconnect old machine and move it outside. By 1:30pm, no washing machine. When he called they said that they wouldn't deliver because it was purchased online!!!!!! They did not feel any obligation to inform us. Lowe's Hardware lies about price matching. I don't know about anyone else, but I work hard for my money. Recently I was purchasing wire for my well pump, Lowe's wanted $444.00 Merrit's price was $164.00. Lowe's refused to honor what they advertise (which is to match and beat a competitors price by 10%). If there was a Home Depot I believe the service at Lowes would get better. I go because they have what I need but most of the time it is difficult getting knowledgeable help in the plumbing department especially.
Just want to say Jamie in appliance department is wonderful, helped us tremendously when having to purchase a new refrigerator. Paul, Zach and Richie in delivery department are wonderful. So respectful and helpful. Couldn't have ask for any better!!
