Moral of the story: Don't bother with Craftsman or Lowes. We made the mistake of purchasing this mower (our first) April 4, 2020 from Lowes. After TWO mows, the cable that engages the blades snapped. We turned to our mechanic (50 years experience), who has been a long-time Craftsman owner, for help. Ordered 6 appliances on Thanksgiving day. Had an estimated delivery date of mid-December, no big deal. Didn't actually get them till January, still not a huge deal. However, I'd put them on my Lowe's card and opted for the 24 month no interest special. The pricing in the email confirmation I got on the 28th confirmed the amount with no additional % off, so I thought I was good.
