Absolutely love the Plant & Grow Workshops for kids on Thursdays taught by Jacquelin! The kids have never been more excited about gardening. On a "downside", I am spending lots of money on plants from Lowes! :-)
Bonnie Bankhead was the best on what could have been a costly Christmas Eve; our large upright freezer went out and was full of mostly meat. She got the manager on duty to sell us a freezer off the floor display. Thank you Bonnie for the great service!
I am a veteran of the Armed Forces and was very disappointed to find after seeing all the signs about military discount, that due to my ID being expired I was unable to receive said dicount even with a copy of my DD form 214 showing my honorable discharge. Does my expired ID mean I am not a veteran, and what about my 214. ? However I can receive a 5% discount if I open a credit account with them as can anyone else. Thanks Lowe's you are truly all about Veterans!!!!
Bought carpet at Lowes. very expensive carpet. Schedule the install over 2 weeks ago. One guy shows up at my house to install. Was suppose to be here at 9am call and asked if he could start at 7 am, told him 730 am was OK. Now that I know he new last night he was going to be alone. The contractor Lowes uses to install carpet sucks!!!! They are wasting my time...They can't afford me on my time!!! I purchased a Samsung top load washing machine (WA5451ANW/XAA) with an extended four year warranty from Lowes. The interior top is now rusting to the point that I have rust and paint falling into my laundry. The detergent dispenser had to be removed because it wouldn't open/close correctly due to rust and it retained water after each load. Lowes has the nerve to classify this problem as cosmetic and will not honor the warranty! The whole circumference of the top is rusting out. Photos in comment.
Was just told that because my military ID card was expired, I wasn't allowed to receive any discount because its only for Active Duty and Retired military personnel only. I guess my five years of Active Duty Army, and two combat tours as well as having to have both of my ankles surgically repaired because of injuries sustained during my time in the Army didn't count for nothing to this "American" Corporation. Also my VA veteran's card doesn't matter either.
Every time I go in this store it is the worse service of any store. The employees are completely rude and will get in arguments over anything. I will not ever be going to this location again. This store has refused my valid coupons and refused to give me a military discount almost every time. If you want to be respected as a military member or just a person I would head to the store in massaponix instead.
