We purchased a range from Lowe's and were assigned a delivery window of 5:30 - 7:30pm the evening before. Not ideal but whatever. Started receiving demanding phone calls from the driver @ 1:03 pm saying they were "running early". Called them back and this translates to "If you can't have someone at your home immediately we are taking the afternoon off and rescheduling your delivery". Incredibly unprofessional. 1- because there I are no negative numbers. Beware of the “set ups”they have and apparently include some of the employees. In the last 3 years, I’ve spent over $13 K on plants, mulch, fountains, rock. Etc to fix up the yard. (Not including all that was purchased from them to build the house. ...Continue Reading
My lumber delivery was supposed to arrive between 9:30 and 11:30 this morning. It’s after 5:00p and I still don’t have it. I have not been proactively notified by Lowe’s or the contracted delivery company at all. I have called many times and even went to the store. While I was in the store the manager on duty, Derek, called me back from an earlier call I had made. Rather than come meet me face to face he handled the complaint over the phone. �. My husband and I purchased a new exterior door almost 8 weeks ago...the door came in 4 weeks ago with no glass. Then, the "replacement" glass was back ordered. Not sure if the original glass was damaged or not. The door was on the "truck" to be delivered to Lowe's, I assume, but that was May 21st. An installer would be calling me in a day or two... Do NOT use their Installation Services Department. Almost all the employees know nothing about installation. They take their time getting back to you, They lie or don't tell you what the costs will be or even whats included or not included in the installation . I thought I had an easy project to have 20 sf of back splash installed. Their contractor was an idiot, knew nothing. In 2018 how does a home improvement store not carry slow closing cabinet hinges? Lowes ..., no wonder Amazon is cleaning you clock in sales.
Thomas in the garden center was the only one who helped...he was very knowedgable and helped a lot...but...it took three others who just ignored us...asked one man a question and he said let me see if I can find out for you and promptly walked away and never came back....they all acted like we were bothering them...if you hate your job that bad you need to quit....not a nice place to shop
