I am making note of a very rude customer service rep at the Glenmont, NY Lowes. I called to ask for information about a special order and was rudely repeatedly interrupted by the woman who answered the phone. I am in the area temporarily and usually deal with Lowes in El Paso, TX. I guess I was spoiled by the polite customer oriented LOWES employees there. I was taken aback by the rude behavior of the customer service rep in Glenmont. When I asked for a manager, I was put on hold, with no manager coming on line.
Today I cut up my Lowe’s card of 16 years. Cannot deal with their mismanagement of my account any longer. Good bye Lowe’s!
bought a washer and dryer set from u guys..had issues with the washer called they had someone come out the next day and they delivered a new one the following day and still had issues with that one..so went in the store tonight and the lady manger of the Appliance Department handled the whole thing with alot of respect and she ended up switching out our washer for a different brand with a price match..without a fight or anything..Michelle was her name very nice and friendly...was very happy with the service not so much the p... read more
There to pick up my SOS front door unit with sidelites. after asking for assistance to load it on my trailer (it was about 400# and VERY large) and hearing "code 50" more then 3 times and waiting a half/hour for ~someone~ to come, I had to call the store from my cell and ask the front desk to PLEASE send someone out as I had been waiting for a LONG time for help. Was told we’d need extra trim for storm door installation, which we already suspected. Lowe’s employee said, I’ve never seen it cost more than $30. Got the quote today, which included EXTRA labor (didn’t know this was a possibility at the time) and materials for $187 combined, well above the $30 we were originally quoted. So, we walked out and lost the absurd $35 charge for the measuring of the door.
Poor service from Lowe’s of Glenmont. Very disappointed as we ordered a dishwasher that was in stock and promised 2 business day delivery. We ordered on 5/17. The delivery and install was just scheduled for 6/2?? Perhaps I should have gone to Home Depot?
