There didn’t seem to be any coordination of trades. Nobody took ownership of the project. Construction errors not acknowledged, 4 different points of contact for the customer,....They’re just selling stuff off their shelves. How it gets put together in your home they wash their hands of.
THE WORST EXPERIENCE! Do NOT go to Lowes for any contracted home improvement jobs! Our fence was put in the wrong place and after weeks of them giving us the run around they tried to have US pay for them to fix it. Instead, they stopped returning our calls and left piles of supplies in our yard which now has mold growing on it. HORRIBLE customer service from the "installation group", Lowes Coordinator, Lowes sales rep Jason Wendtland, the company Lowes contracted to do our fence and deck. I contracted Lowe's to install a new roof and completely remove all the old (two layers) roofing material down to the decking and replace some rotten joists over my front porch. I was quoted roughly $12,600 and was able to finance it for 24 mo interest free on my new Lowe's Credit Card. After a few days passed I received a call that the price is now $15,273. Tonight I had a very poor experience in the store tonight picking up a online order. After having very very poor service from the pro desk the last few weeks. Needless to say I think I will more than likely bring my business to the competitors store!!! Would love to talk to corporate or the store manager!
I started off with the Lowes in Benton Harbor but wanted to work with the Holland one cause I'm there more. But the flooring dept told me that they couldn't use the same quote that the Benton Harbor Lowes gave me because they use 2 different contract companies. I refused to be charged from the same company to measure my floors that haven't changed in size!!!! You would think this day in age of technology in such a big company they would be able to communicate between two stores that aren't that far apart.
The experience I had with purchasing new carpet at Lowes was incredible! Erika and Keanon were pleasant to work with and took several additional steps to order a sample for me. Make sure you don't lose the crew that did the installation, keep them as installers. They did in incredible job installing the carpet taking their time not to rush the job. They asked how late they can work, I told them as long at they want. They stayed until 9:45pm The work they did is first class all the way!!!
