I purchased a washer and dryer on 4/22. They were originally only supposed to be backordered 3 weeks with a possibility that they could come in earlier than that date (5/13). I called about two weeks after my order to get an updated ETA and it turned out that the date changed from 5/13 to Memorial Day weekend (which I would not have known had I not called). Service is slow as molasses in a Canadian winter. When it takes AN HOUR and making a scene at the checkout counters just to get the item you paid for AN HOUR ago to be pulled from the rack and brought to the front, you're doing something wrong. When a customer asks to speak with a manager AND YOU SHRUG YOUR SHOULDERS, you're doing something wrong. Home Depot may not have earned my business, but you sure as shit have lost it...

If customer service were any slower, time would possibly start moving backwards. Only 2 people at Customer Service Desk and one of them kept walking away; Saturday morning with a line of 15+ people.
Terrible experience. I wanted to buy an exterior door, they don't stock the one I wanted without the framing included. Associate didn't know software for in-store ordering , so I left my phone number with customer service, but they never called back. I ended up purchasing the door I needed from another retailer the next day.
They no longer honor Veteran discount if using North Carolina Drivers license with US Military Veteran Status on it.
