I always went to Lowes when I lived in Indy so I started going to the one here in town when I moved to Lafayette. In 4 years I can say only 1 time has an employee been helpful. A week ago we needed help getting fencing down with their fork truck and the garden center employees ignored us. We walked through and found a really nice employee in another area. Always enjoyed shopping at Lowes, but....they need to tell customers a gallon of paint is no long a gallon. 1 gallon is 128 fluid ounces, (some of us rely on workers to give them what they ask for. Guess customers need to research first how many gallon should be in a gallon of paint before going to the store. Of course now they got smart they do not put the word gallon on the can, but the word gallon appears on the sticker on the lid. : ( One gallon is 128 fluid ounces not 124 fluid ounces. So sad.
I realize weve had a late start to spring in Lafayette IN and you have a bunch of plants coming in constantly as well as new hires, but I'm disgusted by the sight of all the wilted, dying and desperately thirsty plants inside AND in the parking lot!! Especially when I find an employee at a counter in the Nursery area playing with his phone when a water wand would be more useful!!! WHERE IS THE MANAGEMENT??? #wontbebackforplants

Got there at 6 AM and was hoping to get a cuppa coffee before I started shopping. They told me that the coffee didn’t get made until 7 o’clock with the woman came in to do it. I guess there’s only one person there that knows how to make coffee? It’s not rocket science it would be nice when it’s 20° outside and grab a cuppa coffee on your way in and nobody there at the incentive to make the coffee
Went in to buy a gift card. They were having a 11% rebate on their Lowe's cards. I purchased a $50 card. My rebate was for $3.25. Last time I checked 11% of 50 was 5.50. Also the cashiers should be told what the rebates are for. She kept saying it was 11% of our total purchase. I didn't know it was just for the Lowe's card until I filled out the online submission.
